They are very quick to tell you that you can not do this or you can not do that and that you can not be what you dream to be when you grow up and leave school. What do you want to do when you are older?
in Kentucky Many youngsters tell me that they see own in future as an actress, a doctor, a computer programmer, a lawyer, a motocross champion, a pilot, a soldier, a professional football player, a pop star, a racing driver or an astronomer. Someone even told me they wanted to become a magician.
If you desire to make become as a singer it takes more than the talent to sing. You are challenging against thousands of other singers. If you desire to make become as a motocross champion it takes more than the capacity to ride a bike. You are challenging against thousands of additional amateurs like yourself who have been riding motocross bikes from the short age and have been challenging approximately every weekend for years.
I am not trying to put you off. I want you to wake up to the reality that if you are not already involved in practice and competing at the peak level of your dream activity then you need to start damn fast or believe that someone else is going to live your dream and not you.
Most teen of the world so, as Kentucky typically think that their parents as either the enemy or guides to growing up. If you are the enemy, they will learn to con and lie to you, which can make for a long struggle.
The parents how will identify if they view you as the enemy? In two ways. First, ask yourself, Do they lie to me or try to con me?
Second, observe the approach you talk to them. Let us look at some examples of enemy communication vs. friend communication. To put them into a mature frame of reference, imagine how you would think if your boss talked to you in these two different ways.
