Nunavut Territory has very old history behind itself. In 1576, Martin Frobisher was the first European to meet Inuit, the habitant of this place and he took few of them to England where they died due to the major change in the weather.
Inuktitut is the language which is mainly spoken there. It is the language of the place, the language of the real habitant of the place. English is also widely spoken there so teen speaking English are welcomed there. Moreover, sending your teen to Nunavut will take him to a completely different environment which will help your teen to take some distance from his normal life. This distance can usually be of great help.
Nunavut is also known for his its flora and for its great sceneries. Being not a very much populated state, your teen will discover a new world and a peaceful world. Moreover, Nunavut has many small islands which are a source of great excitement for teens.
Nunavut means 'our land' in Inuktitut, the language of the Inuit. The name reflects the love that its habitant has for their land, their attachment with their root. And these same sentiments full of love, respect and attachment will be passed to your teen.
