Ascent is the premier adolescent wilderness program utilizing the base camp approach. The base camp approach allows Ascent to provide unique program features such as; deliberate creative programming, high level of clinical involvement, and flexibility both unavailable and unattainable by traditional trekking wilderness programs. Furthermore, the combination of leadership, program history and the physical facility distinguish Ascent in the highly competitive marketplace of today. Ascent serves adolescent boys and girls between the ages of 13 and 18.

Located in the beautiful Selkirk Mountain Range of the Idaho Panhandle, we work with young people from 13 yrs to 18 yrs old. Our basecamp facility, nestled in this pristine wilderness setting, enables Ascent to offer a safe, deliberate and exhilarating process for stabilizing behavior, assessing physical and psychological health and building a plan for success. The Ascent program is licensed by the State of Idaho and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)
