Big Horn Basin Adolescent Program is a private, nonprofit facility for struggling adolescents in the age group of 10 to 17 years, who are facing drug abuse problem, sexual abuse problem, negative peer pressure influence, authority problems, self destruction, and those who are facing downward spiral. Parents can get the best kind of help for their child to restore well. They assure long lasting improvements in teens and do not discriminate them on the basis of race, color, religion etc. But they treat non violent and need structured behavioral modification.
Located in the Central Wyoming, they offer a safe and nurturing environment that help teens to overcome their difficulties and live happily with their families. They want families to support their teens and so students are kept in touch with them while staying in the program. Parents are informed on the regular basis about the performance and improvements shown by the child. Life skills are the backbone of their program. Those who are 17 to 18 years old are taught about the advanced living skills. With the help of staff and mentors students develop good study routine so that they excel in academics. They are also allowed to attend public schools within the area, while living in group homes and perform community services. Community resources help teens to persist long term habits and fitness. Students at Big Horn Basin are also offered physical activity and use outdoor recreation that raise their self confidence and help them in relationship building.
