Cadwalder Behavioral Clinics is a residential treatment program for eating disorders and substance abuse. It is situated in a beautiful area of Tomball, Texas and founded by Dr. Kathy Cadwalder and Dr. Roger and has been serving for last 30 years.
The aim of the center is to provide positive life skills to their students that can help them lead victorious, healthy lives. The programs offers by the center are focused on a therapy which involves physical, emotional and spiritual recovery.
The center provides an opportunity to therapists and also to their patients to freely interact with horses has been exposed to have dramatic results for those suffering from eating disorders.
The treatment therapy offer by the center allows utilizing the horse as a strong psychological tool to help in the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder. The treatment method is effective for the surroundings by drugs and/or alcoholism. The primary substance abuse and conduct disorders are also treated in this center. They also provide psychotherapy treatment for emotional and psychological disorder rapidly and effectively. The main aim of the center is to become “Weller than well.”
They also provide own your own horse program in which the students will learn to help young horse in a round pen using the resistance free gentling approach of the horse whisperer.
