Cedar Ridge is a therapeutic boarding school serving troubled teenagers since 1996. It is located at the foothills of the Uintah Mountains and accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS).
The mission of the school is to create behavioral alteration and develop family relationships through the use of accomplished treatment, a helpful peer culture and a strong teaching.
The school believes that youngsters require developing strong other-gender relationship skills before transitioning back into bigger community surroundings.
They offer three process of therapy program:
- Individual Therapy
- Group Therapy
- Family Therapy
During individual and group therapy each student assign to a therapist for their entire stay.
During group and family therapy each student charges their day and receives response from other students and staff.
All three program components intertwine together to offer students an unbiased, incorporated approach to sustaining alteration in their lives.

We are both working parents and have two children aged 13 and 16 respectively. The elder is a boy and younger is a girl. They both are very demanding and we are not been able to provide them with the necessary attention to them. So we wanted to enroll them in a boarding school. I wanted to find the best for them.
