Change Academy at Lake of the Ozarks (CA-LO) is a specialist in treating issues of emotion, attachment, and trauma and other problems such as ADD/ADHD, lack of motivation, stealing and lying, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, drugs and alcohol abuse, sexual abuse, adoption, and many more. They offer therapeutic treatment that helps students to develop a feeling of responsibility.
CA-LO offers excellent residential treatment to its needy youths. It provides effective treatment so as to build healthy relationship between the child and the family. They have certified teachers for their curriculum. For better performance of students and attention and guidance to each individual, the academy has kept small teacher to student ratio i.e. of 1:4. They develop a feeling of attraction in students so that they reunite with their family members. They believe that relationships are the key to change, so they focus primarily on:

The curriculum is divided into two parts. These are Standard Program and Advanced Program. Both the programs allow students to grow on their own pace. Students are supposed to adopt a dog as soon as the program begins. By this way, they learn unconditional love, self-discipline, commitment and life-lessons. Outdoor doings include water sports such as river rafting, etc. Student’s progress is evaluated and parents are informed about this on regular intervals.
