Founded in 1983, Cotting School is serving children in the age group of 3 to 22 years who are experiencing physical challenges, learning disabilities, communication disabilities, complex medical conditions, and post traumatic injuries. Students in Cotting School are given one to one instruction with highly structured academic and therapeutic environment. They have closely supervised classrooms for medically unfit children and rehabilitative settings for traumatic children. Cotting School is divided into Pre School, Lower School, Middle School, Upper School, HOPE house.
The Cotting School offers individualized academic, prevocational, and vocational skills and the students are allowed to take part in service project also. They have highly qualified and devoted team of professional including specialist that deal with therapy and medical team consisting of physicians, nurses, and assistants. The enrichment program offered to the residents includes:
- Visual and creative art
- Adaptive physical education
- Music and drama
- Home economics
- Extra curricular activities
Their extra curricular activities include drama club, chess club, winter sports and their physical education program comprises of sports facilities such as basketball, golf, softball, and track & field. They encourage their students to get involved in the yearbook, school magazine, yoga, ski trips, and concerts. Their Hope House is working with the aim to help their youngest students who are facing the most serious challenges. It is possible for the parents to donate and contribute to parents funds.

Students are involved in extra curricular activities along with academics so that they grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. They have highly qualified team of professionals and medical staffs who work hard with the children and help them cope up with their life problems.

The institute is private day school for troubled adolescents of age ten to fourteen. The organization offers communication skill program for children.
