Turning D Ranch is a small but high-quality facility for boys in the age group of 12 to 17 years. The program designed by Turning D Ranch is based on the 12 step program for low self esteem. They deal with struggling teens that are facing problems such as drugs and alcohol abuse, unusual behavior, lack of self-esteem, lack of motivation, destructive behavior etc. They are committed to improve the lives of the struggling teens and get them back on the right track. The team of faculty members works hard with each student to find out the cause behind their problem and help them to come out of their past experiences and live a normal life.
The programs offered by Turning D Ranch make struggling teens responsible, cooperative and trustworthy. Many times they are told to work in a group so that they learn teamwork. Students learn to self-respect and explore themselves. The healing process of struggling teens also consists of individual as well as family therapy. Academics are given utmost importance by the TDR. The cost of academic program is nominal and paid directly to the school by the parents. In addition to academics, they prepare a full roster of extra curricular activities. These activities are either indoor activities or outdoor activities that are generally held during the weekends. The indoor activities include football, swimming, movies, work projects, volleyball etc. The outdoor activities that take place are backpacking, camping, river rafting, hiking, softball, etc. Each students gets privilege to participate in these activities. The financial help is available for the parents to pay the fee.
