Discovery Academy therapeutic boarding school for troubled teenagers located at the Wasatch Mountains of Utah. The Discovery Academy provides treatment for teens ages of 13 to 17 in an outdoor wilderness environment. It is treatment oriented boarding school which designed to facilitate the students failing at school and also within the society. It also provides transitional housing and accommodations for students’ ages of 18 years and above.
The main aim of the academy is to inspire each student to pursue for superiority in all areas of living. The academy offer intensive programs, conventional and practical therapy, and living skills education. The students are daring to stand out academically, psychologically, collectively, morally and physically.
The Discovery Academy accepts the students having the following problems:

The academy focuses to teach the students the skills for their daily living. The Discovery Academy offers three different types of therapy which help the students to find a new way in life and also to make their lives more beautiful than before.
My nephew is loosing his exposure to studies, he has joined a group of friends at school who are using drugs, and we can only monitor him now and then. He has changed his school twice as he was expelled from the previous one. My Question is, Will the long term residential program provide him with the necessary skills he needs to improve his studies? Will he be able to kick off his bad habits?
The academic and social pressure that a child faces nowadays tends to push the youngsters on a way where the use drugs and alcohol to relieve these pressures. This can cause them becoming addicted to the drug or alcohol. The center offer the kids who are suffering from these drug and alcohol related issues regain their inner strength that can then help them regain their confidence in life. They teach the youngsters with the time management skills and other life skills they need to regain their composure in life. They offer a residential treatment program.
