Services:
Eagle Valley Youth Ranch is a 24 bed residential treatment program serving teenage girls between the ages of 12 to 17. Nestled beneath the beautiful pink cliffs of Bryce Canyon National Park, we offer a wide range of therapeutic programs to assist our clients in their recovery.
Students live in a dorm setting, supervised 24 hours a day. Each student is responsible for the care of her own room and the supporting structures and participates in daily chores such as cleaning and cooking; daily academics through independent study, creative life skills training, and animal care. Working the 250 acre ranch offers many lessons such as the value of teamwork, self reliance, and natural consequences of behavior. Activities are decided on by the students but monitored by staff. Each week students are asked to reflect on their week and report their Reflections to their parents.
Eagle Valley Ranch’s treatment team incorporates four main components to customize the developmental opportunities of each girl:
1. Individual, Group and Family Counseling
2. Life Skills
3. Academics
4. Agriculture Care
Eagle Valley Youth Ranch is fully equipped to provide every opportunity for your daughter’s growth. We utilize well-proven and highly effective behavior modification strategies to address our client's needs and develop their strengths. Your daughter’s program on average will be 8 to 12 months. She will be involved in a life skills program where she will learn to be a productive part of your family. Good behavior will be praised and negative behavior will result in negative consequences
The therapist works hand-in-hand with the staff to make sure that the therapeutic environment is maintained 24 hours a day. Each student receives individual attention from management, therapists, and staff. Information sharing between staff provides for continuity and consistency in your daughter’s recovery.
Family involvement is a very important part of a girl’s recovery. Our program focuses on the family as we teach the girls how to think of others, with family therapy being held regularly to coincide with your daughter’s individual and group therapy. Parents are given access to a secure website and ID number to view weekly individual therapy notes which enables them to watch their daughter’s progress, learn about their behaviors and follow up on their program.
Academics are an integral part of our program. Independent Study courses and Life Skills classes are based on your daughters own learning capabilities. Also, as a Christian based program we offer bible study classes as well as teach good family values through the examples of our very competent staff.
Eagle Valley Youth Ranch is a nationally accredited school through Northwest Association of Colleges and Schools. We also offer financial assistance through SLM Financial, a subsidiary of the Sallie Mae Corporation.
