Elan is a residential school for adolescents, located in the rural community of Poland Spring, Maine. The school is closely-knit, highly structured community that replicates society. It is licensed by the Maine Department of Education as a residential, special-purpose junior and senior high school entitled to grant diplomas to those students who meet high school graduation requirements. The Elan School believes that behavior can’t changed by simply eliminating negative actions. All the programs of the school based on this principle.
