Excel Academy is a co-educational boarding school for substance abuse treatment center for teenagers’ ages of 9 to 12. It’s a combination of college preparatory academics with strong traditions of revival to serve troubled and underachieving teenagers.
The surrounding of the school is very friendly where the students can safely distance themselves from distractions of their homely atmosphere, harmful peer relationships and other detractors from living an optimistic life.
The academy provides traditional 12-stpe philosophy to their students’ .The academy offers a 12 to 18 month program that highlights on the away-from-home family setting. The academy also offers an AA/NA 12-step model with countrywide accepted decline obstacle work. They try to emphasis on ensuring that all their students feel secure and part of "a family" despite of past situation, educational performance, activities, traditions, sexual orientation, or substance abuse past.
The Academy offers various therapy such as behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and reality therapy. The Students here will receive individual therapy, counselor-facilitated group sessions, and skill-building workshops where issues are addressed.

I would say that Excel Academy will be the good place for troubled teens. The academy tries to help those teens who are suffering from drug abuse and underachiever. The atmosphere of the academy is very caring and safe which will help the students to facilitate healthy living. The programs offers by the academy are based on family setting so students will get better treatment from it. Besides the treatment they also provide other curriculum activities which will help the students to achieve other living skills. They also offer program for physically inclined students so they will get confident. The staff here is devoted to their students’ recovery.
