Florence Crittenton is a therapeutic residential service for pregnant and parenting young women in the age group of 12 to 21 years. Many teenagers face issues such as substance abuse, runaway or suicide tendencies, depression, anxiety etc. Their programs are based on behavioral approach and relationship building activities that help disturbed teens to come out of their past traumas. Their services include 24 hours intensive care and support, education, job skills training, individual, group, and family counseling and therapy, independent life skills etc. Their programs offer a positive transformation in struggling teens.
They offer effective therapy to both the mother and the child during the pregnancy and give them parenting tips for healthy results. The problems of these young mothers cannot be solved overnight and require rigorous efforts and support from the staff in giving them a difference in living life Their clinical services include individual, group, family therapy, and specialist including psychiatrist, eye, dental, and neuro. Their life skills training program is of great importance to the teens as it helps them to learn about how to manage finances and daily routine and activities. There are effective program specially designed for parents and some programs related to boding and attachment therapy that teach eternal love and care to the women who are about to give birth.
