A Christ-centered Residential Program and Boarding School for Teenage Girls
Grace Christian Home and Academy for Girls is a Christian residential-based program for troubled girls ages 13-17. Our program is structured to deal with issues that families face and offers a place for spiritual healing, as well as offering academic studies for all levels and abilities. Our long-term (12 month) program is designed to offer Bible based guidance within a safe home environment that empowers young women to make right choices.
Students who come to Grace Christian Home and Academy for Girls typically have a history of behavioral and emotional problems and are often times hard to control, defiant towards authority, and disrespectful. Other behavior may include poor choice of friends and activities, substance abuse, sexual activity, and initial signs of disorders relating to a negative self image. As a result of these situations, many students admitted to Grace Christian Home and Academy for Girls also struggle academically. Our Christian-based program is specifically designed to address the complete needs of its students and their families.
Parents of troubled teens today find themselves facing negative influences of current culture. Among these are peer pressure, media and the entertainment industry, and the philosophy of modern society. Grace Christian Home is here to help with the necessary tools and skills needed to better equip troubled teen girls and their families.
Grace Christian Home and Academy for Girls is a twelve-month year round residential program for girls. This means that your daughter may be admitted to the school at any point in the year. Likewise, her transition home can be planned in conjunction with her home school at any point in the year as well. We work closely with you to plan the transition into and out of the program to ensure that your daughter’s best interest is served academically, socially, and spiritually.
Schooling -
Grace Christian Academy is accredited by the Louisiana Department of Education. We are a self paced, year-round school – allowing students to enter at any point during the year.
When they arrive girls are administered assessment tests in math and language arts. If necessary they are placed in a remedial program to bring their skills to the appropriate grade level. Girls who complete all state requirements for high school graduation receive a high school diploma.
Guidance -
Group sessions are conducted weekly with a goal of exploring such topics as communicating with others, dealing with anger, maintaining self control, improving behavior, and effective family living. Individual sessions are also conducted on a weekly basis, focusing on personal issues and problems, with a goal of building self esteem and developing Godly character. Families are requested to participate in on-site family sessions, or alternatively, telephone sessions.

The mission of Grace Christian Home is to meet the spiritual, emotional, intellectual, social, and physical needs of the girls in its care; and, to help the girls build a foundation of principles that will be their lifelong guide for successful living. The fundamental principle guiding all that we do is our conviction that a personal relationship with Christ and spiritual growth is life transforming.

I would like to know about the accurate location of your school. Actually my thirteen years old daughter is very dull in studies and she always run away from studies. So I need to know that what teaching method do you follow to teach the students and what do the students do for fun and enjoyment?
Our academy mainly focuses of the welfare of the teenage girls of ages between 13 and 17. Parents, who are very much concerned about the future of their teenage girls, can send their daughters to this academy. The experienced staff personnel interact with the girls very politely and give them friendly touch.
