Services:
Small units of up to eight students and two staff live in small house (Yurt) on the ranch. In here students learn to steadiness the achievement of intellectual and personal goals with the growth and upholding of vital relationships. Each family group stay in two yurts: one yurt provides sleeping and personal space and the other houses kitchen and bathroom facilities. The places are equipped with solar electricity, spring-fed water, wood burning stoves, and home cooked meals that are purchased and prepared by the students. The rural environment of the yurt is prepared so that students become familiar with and learn to manage all of their personal needs.
It is a small, alternative hostel high school for young people that combine intellectual, character growth, and ranch staying into a unique and memorable experience. They are located on a two thousand acre working ranch in the foothills of the Pioneer Mountains of Idaho. People all over Idaho and Pioneer come and see the unique style of teaching .
Each student’s family visits the farm to spend time with their son and to take part in a workshop. The workshop is planned to classify relationship patterns and to give families with effectual contact tools. Their main aim is to help participants use these tools in their day-to-day lives after leaving .Their Students also have the chance to visit home while at hostel. Time and duration may vary. It is very important to them that kids spend time off the hostel so that they are able to test new approach and viewpoint. Away from the hostel, students are able to put to use the knowledge and experience they have gained in comprehensive, real world contexts.
