Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy (MSPA) is a transitional boarding school for boys and girls in the age group of 14 to 18+ years graduating from either a residential treatment program or wilderness program. It is not a therapeutic boarding school but therapy is available from the therapists who are working for MSPA. Their offer effective programs that are helpful in recovery process of struggling teens and help them to succeed in all aspects of life. Their mentors are engaged in building healthy relationships of students with their teachers, family, and society. Their programs focus on building self-esteem and deal with primary issues.
They have fully accredited academic programs with small teacher to student ratio i.e. 1:6 so that each individual gets attention from the teachers. In addition to academics, ‘field trips’ and ‘knowledge treks’ give students a good learning experience. International trips are conducted twice in a year and students diversify themselves by learning communication, cultural differences, and history and lifestyle of different countries. Outdoor trips engage students in activities such as hiking, trekking, backpacking, climbing, and rafting. Students of MSPA actively participate in week-end activities such as movies, concerts, cultural trips, and dance.
The academy believes that family plays a crucial role in healing process of their struggling teen. Without family involvement the academy alone is not sufficient to help the struggling teen in recovery. The families of enrolled teens are given family counseling and therapy and they are also being told about the after care that parents should know when their child returns home after the program. The fee of MSPA program is $ 4,995 per month.

Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy (MSPA) is a good an d highly effective transitional boarding school for boys and girls in the age group of 14 to 18+ years graduating from either a residential treatment program or wilderness program. They have full focus on academic programs and other recreational and outdoor activities. The fee of their program is $ 4,995 per month and a struggling teen has to stay in the program minimum for four months and maximum for twenty-four months depending upon the issue they are facing and he progress they are showing in recovery.
