New Vision Wilderness is an effective help option for struggling teens and families in crisis. It offers services to young boys and girls in the age group of 12 to 17 years. They offer variety of programs including individual and group therapy to help youths-at risk to develop positive potential and know about them. Each program is designed in a unique and special way to meet the specific needs of the individual. The outdoor programs that New Vision offers last for about 21 days. Their programs include:
- Adolescents Program
- School Program
- One-day Workshop
- Family Program
- Mentoring
In family program, the experts guide parents of the struggling teens how to behave when the child returns home after the completion of treatment. They treat teens with issues such as alcohol and drug abuse problems, relationship problem, trauma, decision making, ADD/ADHD, depression, bipolar disorder etc. Their wilderness expedition program costs for about $ 4725 and lasts for about 21 days; wilderness explorer program is for 9 days and costs $ 2115. There are other programs that vary in their costs and duration.
