The full name of SALT is Strategic Alternative Learning Techniques. It was established in 1980. The Salt canter provides their services to teens that are suffering from learning disability and ADD/ADHD. They also help the teens for their academics success. They focus on the individual educational planning. They also offer SALT computer lab to teens. The learning specialist at this center is trained and highly qualified. They help the individual teen. They offer secure and safe environment to individual teen in which they can grow.
The specialist at the Salt Center use individualized learning plan (ILP) for teen. To make ILP for individual teen, they use student’s profile of weakness, strength and some extra academicals issues. The program fee depends upon the program.
The programs provided by them are:
- Undergraduate Lower Division
- Undergraduate Upper Division
- Graduate
- Part Time
- Pre-session, summer session , winter session
They offer several services to students. They provide several opportunities to teens for their academics improvements. The trained tutors help the teens in their academics and mastering course content. They also offer some other services to teens. The programs provided by salt center are hiking, sports etc. These outdoor programs help the teens to overcome stress.
