Samaya is a residential treatment center for girls in the age group of 14 to 17 years. It is located in the north of Salt Lake City, UT. Their programs usually focus on relationship building. The mission of Samaya is to provide safe, reliable environment for the young women to restore well. Each individual is provided with academic background along with treatment and therapy. Their treatment method includes medication, physical fitness, community service, wellness education etc.
The therapeutic treatment offered at Samaya includes Dialectical behavior Therapy (DBT), Rational Emotive Therapy (RET), Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) etc. This also includes individual, group, and family therapy. Physical, mental, and social fitness is taken care of by yoga. The exercise and physical fitness is used as a way to stay connected with the students. Community Service is a fundamental part of Samaya’s program. The students get opportunity to serve their peers first and then working for the pantry, senior citizens etc. The staff and the faculty members are certified by the State of Utah. The core subjects that are taught to the girls include mathematics, social studies, physical education, science, art etc. They also provide certified school guidance counseling to help girls achieve success in all aspects of life. They have particular criteria of admission and they do not discriminate the candidate on the basis of caste, color etc.

Academics and treatment go hand in hand in Samaya. Their aim is to help teen girls in the best possible way so that they achieve success in all aspects of life.
My friend was very helpful and intelligent. But eventually he lost interest in studies and started partying with some new people. His new friends are unpopular and never went to school. He spends most of his time with these people and is spoiling his career for no good reason. I am worried if he continued to live his life like this he will stand no where. How can I help?
The center provides highly structured programs that promise to deliver great results in less time. The programs are motivating and demand involvement from the teen. The programs focus on individual growth and excelling in everyday activities. The programs are educative and develop interest of the individual. The programs include sports and other fun activities.
