Second Nature – Blue Ridge is a wilderness therapy treatment program for troubled teens to give insight, direction and hope to troubled teens ages of 13 to 17 and their families. It helps the teenagers who are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues such as depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and learning disabilities.
The Program focuses on evaluation and involvement, with consideration to behavioral reliability, student responsibility and grounding for long-term steadiness and healing. It offers the most clinical therapies with necessary behavioral interventions. Instead of teaching by instigating fear in the troubled teen, Second Nature teaches accountability and choice.
The student accepts by the Second Nature – Blue Ridge may exhibit the following characteristic:

The programs offers by the center involve the family and treatment team to serve the students who have been withdrawn. They make the parents understand to gain basic control of their troubled child.
The philosophy of the center is that students react healthy to the strength of being away from home and out in the wilderness, lacking the requirement of added levels of absence.

Second Nature- Blue Ridge provides very good services to the troubled teens. The programs offers by the Second Nature are very helpful to the students. Students suffering from the depression, low self-esteem, substance abuse and many more will be getting treatment in the Second Nature wilderness programs. The school aims to give their students a new hop and try to help them to find a new way for their better future. The teaching style of the Second Nature is not to instigate fear in the students but help them to make understand about the responsibility and option. The environment provide by the Second Nature is very friendly and so the students will get more benefit from it. The staff is also very loving and caring. So I’ll say this will be the better choice for the teens who wants to come out of their problems.
There is an athlete in our colony. He has won many medals in various sports events. From last couple of months he is facing some problems related to mental health. He is facing these problems as he used to take substance abuse of marijuana. Is in your center any treatment available for such addicted teens?
Second Nature is an institute with effective personality development and treatment programs for troubled boys. In the organization special staff is appointed so as to treat boys who are facing any type of behavioral problem. Facilities available in hostel of the group are very sophisticated.
