The family foundation school is a college preparatory boarding school to serve grades 9 to 12 and a separate middle school serves grades 6 to 8. The school is registered with New York State of Board of Regents and accredited by the middle state of association of colleges and schools. The school is dedicated to give the students a place in the ‘country’ to grow and to practice the four principles of absolutes of Honesty, purity, unselfishness and love and also to increase the student’s self respect.
They offer a long-term program with a minimum stay of three semesters and an average successful stay of two years. They except the student with trouble in home, school, with law, depression, drug or alcohol addicts, behavioral disorders include self-mutilation, promiscuity, eating disorders and compulsive use of computers through either pornography or fantasy games.
The school offers spiritual and moral principles provided by 12-steps programs. High school math through calculus, earth, science, biology, chemistry, physics, four years of Spanish and standard four year sequences in history and English are offered by the school. They also offer courses in physical education, living skills, art, music and drama. Active extracurricular work in sports and the performing arts are also there to support these courses.
The staffs at the school are dedicated for extra work and peer tutoring and study groups operate in all families. They try to help teens unites their staff and every staff member, regardless of position, is directly involved with students during part of the work
