The Greenwood School is located in the southern Vermont of US. This is a boarding school. It helps those teens who are suffering from learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD. They offer good academics program for three years in which they include history, music, art and athletics etc.
The Greenwood School was recognized in 1978. Their main goal is to provide effective academics and learning environment to those teens who are suffering from the learning disability and ADD/ADHD. They try to improve the self-confidence of teens and provide them every possible facility. They enroll the teens that have various problems such as learning disorder, dyslexia, low self-esteem etc. They also offer a unique village program to teens. This program includes social studies, maths, science and several other valuable subjects.
They enroll the teens with dyslexia, learning differences, ADD/ADHD of ages 9-14. Their fee is not so high. They also offer some financial help to the families of struggling teens. They offer other services to teens such that they feel comfortable. Practical is most effective and important part of learning. They offer several opportunity to teens in which they try to explore themselves. They maintain regular contact with teen’s parents. They enroll 12-14 teens per year. The student teacher ration is very less. Due to learning disability, teens can loss their self confidence. This is very essential for the parents that they have to provide proper treatment to them. Otherwise their teen can turn into the victim of other severe problems.
