Uta Halee Girls Village and Cooper Village for boys offers a psychiatric residential treatment programs. Uta Halee is a Native American term, which in the language of the Omaha Tribe means: "on the sunny Side. It is accredited by The Joint Commission, and licensed by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as a Child Caring Agency and Mental Health Center.
The organization was established in 1950 for female students ages 12-18 whose emotional, behavioral, mental health or substance use issues require treatment in a safe and highly structured environment.
While Cooper Village established in 1994, for male students ages 12-18 who’s emotional, behavioral, mental health or substance use issues require treatment in a safe and highly structured environment.
The mission of the center is to give hope and healing atmosphere to teenagers and their families through complete treatment programming. They work for teens that are at risk, reaching to maturity. They make those teens to find meaning in their lives and form fulfilling relationships.
They work on the “Universal Participation” because they believe that without families and staff dedication recovery never works. They think that the on the path of recovery all will have to travel together. It’s difficult but is essential for healing and for the successful reunification of the patient.
Their goal is to return students to their home communities with the skills necessary to find meaning in their lives and resume healthy journeys into adulthood. The facilities provide by the center are the clinical, educational, environmental and moral support that struggling teenagers requirement to make positive and life-long change.
The individual treatment plans develop by the center, utilizing a multi-disciplinary team consisting of all key staff members involved in the concern of the students. This comprises the Psychiatrist, Therapist, Nurse, Group Living Program Director, Clinical Services Director, Academic Coordinator, Recreation Specialist, Primary Youth Care Professional and others.

The treatment center offer services to both girls and boy separately. They are family centered and that’s why they try to educate the family in a better way to give support to their child in their treatment program. The main aim of the center is goal is to make their students to go back their home and communities. They try to help the students to fine a meaning in their lives and restart healthy expedition in to maturity.
They try to united all the staff, the parents of the students to work together for their child’s recovery. This will result in to the quick and life long recovery. The center tries to give their students a new healthy and beautiful life. I’ll say these programs would be the best place for teenagers.
Does your school have programs for the children that are having trouble in their behavior problem? Doe this problem she is not giving her attention toward her study. Her exam is also coming near and I am very confused about what to do and what not to do. Pleas help me in this regard.
