Waterfall Canyon is a residential treatment center for adolescent males, ages of 12 to 17 having problem of cognitive disabilities. The treatment center is a transitional self-regulating living program designed for male students who are transitioning form residential treatment centers, wilderness programs, or therapeutic boarding school. The number of students is less at the center, so the individual attention can be successfully given to each one. The recreational activities and community service projects are offered by the school help the students to prepare themselves for challenges and develop their common sense of well- being.
The academy is dedicated to realize the youth their full potential by providing the highest quality of behavioral and therapeutic services. The school believes that each person is unique and their requirements are also unique. So the school has adopted individual plane for each individual within first thirty days of stay. If there is adequate assessment is available upon the admission of the student, the treatment plan will be formulated within first two weeks.
To make the treatment plan more effective the clinical team ask the parents, referring agents and professionals who before worked with the students to unite with them. The aim of each treatment is make the student to communicate, identify and practice pro-social attitudes and behaviors.
