Located 20 minutes from Conroe in the town of Cleveland, Texas, Sommerville Young Adult Community transforms struggling teens grown up and mature young adults. They are dedicated to help youths in the age group of 18 to 30 years that are facing with Asperger’s Syndrome, Developmental Disorder, and Neurobehavioral characteristics. These programs help teens to explore them and know about their strengths and weaknesses. The organize community events so that each one should know about their individual talent and capabilities. These community activities include:
- Life and living
- Nature-Based Ecological Activities
- Working with horses and other animals
- Overall Health and Well Being
- Individual Development
Apart from academics, they offer a complete roster of extra curricular activities. These are music room, library, gym, computer lab, swimming pool, art studio etc. The students in Sommerville live in a cottage style accommodation where they are provided with facility of kitchen, living room, and bathroom on sharing basis. The staff is well qualified and trained and has good experience in turning the lives of those in crisis. They help residents in the best possible way they can. The enrollment fee of the students is $ 1,200. It is possible to pay the fees either fully or in installments.
