My (middle child) 14 yo son has Asperger's. His autism therapist said he has the classic rigid thinking -non social -Low self esteem-very little drive or energy. He says he wants to be movie maker. He has only taken a few private lessons in piano and karate What are some economical programs (any "tax deductible") to get him motivated and out of his non affectionate slump?

I think the most economical way is to buy some books on parenting and teen’s behavior. Books will give you the knowledge which will help your to understand your kids in a better way. Understanding teen’s needs and wants is important. Aggression, depression, happiness, regression are just phases of teenage. I think your teens need your support and help.
