Two months back, my son’s best friend expired. They used to share each and every thing with each other. Though his sudden death shocked all of us but it had a great effect on my child’s mind. He is not getting good marks because of his lack of concentration in studies. We tried to talk to him but he is not ready to listen. Please tell me, what to do?

Actually your son is not suffering from any serious disease; he just got the sudden shock because of his friend’s death. No need to worry and try to spend as much time with your son, so that he never feels alone and boring. You can also take the help of other friend’s and try to make him understand that whatever had happened, try to forget it.

After reading your query, I would like to suggest you to take your child to any experienced counselor. These counselors will make your child understandable and give him useful advice and guidance. Otherwise with the passage of time, he will forget all these things, you just have to motivate him and encourage him in studies.
