What should a parent do if their teen is into drugs?

Depression is the main and major cause for drug abuse so when you think your teen is depressed ask him. Parents must not ignore as it may be very dangerous for their teen in future. So go and ask your teen about his depression and try to solve his problem.

Make an appointment with doctor for his physical check up and tell him we have noticed you are physically not good these days so come to clinic with us for your regular check up.

Caution! Parents; please don’t discuss this problem to any body not with your relatives and especially not with your teens friends because this may hurt him very much and he / she can lose his / her temper as well. And possibilities are that your child will not explain anything to you in future.

Check your teens daily routine is he wake up early in the morning and is he watching so much movies and is he eating proper meal and what type of cloths he is wearing and make sure his society should be good his all friends should be of good character.

Parents must always stay in touch to his school. They must check his class attendance in school and ask about his performance from his teacher. Whenever your teens go outside ask them where are they going?

Most important thing is don’t let your child isolated by your behaviour. If possible, don’t let your child go to hostel for his school studies and any qualification. Behave with your teens as a good friend and understand their problem also guide them for better one.
