I have a 12 year old son who, in the past year has started playing with fire, completely given up on school and learning, has "cussed out" many teachers and other people of authority, thrown objects (such as chairs and band instruments) across the room, and most recently was sexually inappropriate to a group of girls at his school. Since he cannot be trusted to be at home alone, my ability to work is in jeopardy.

Your son is only 12 years of age and at this age he used to play with fire and cussed out all teachers. In my opinion he needs love, care and support from parents as well as from friends. You can make him understand and tell him that whatever you are doing or behaving rudely with other people is wrong.

From my point of view your son is suffering from mental and behavioral problems and that’s why he is abusing everybody and also involving sexually with girls. You just do one thing; take him to any behavioral treatment center where he will be given good treatment with the help of expert professional doctors.

I think your child have some behavioral disorder or may be depressed by some thing that you doesn’t know. He is an aggressive and disturbed child. The best place for your child is residential treatment centers or boarding schools where you can get the effective and expected treatment for your child. These schools also organize some wilderness programs and extra curricular events which is so helpful to enhance the creativity and state of mind.

Such cases could indicate a kid has an underlying mental problem and uses fire as a technique to communicate pain, sadness or anger and in those incidences, psychologists involvement can help out to stop the teenager from playing with fire again. Very immature kids tend to conduct test with matches and flame pieces of paper, frequently trying to conceal the fire-play in their bedrooms or closets. You can look for the residential treatment center or wilderness schools nearest to your location. It will give the finest treatment to your kid.
