This is Joseph from West Virginia and I have a sixteen years old daughter. From the last one month, I have been monitoring that my daughter is behaving something unusual. She always talks on her cell phone with someone all the time. Now she keeps on ignoring me and tries to hide something. Please suggest, in what way I should approach to my daughter.

I must say that your daughter is having affair with someone and she is hiding this thing from you. She needs guidance and advice because she doesn’t know that she is going to the wrong direction. You can take her to any counselors, as she is a struggling teen and in order to help these youngsters, many troubled teens camps are operating in all over world.

You have written in your question that your daughter has been behaving something strange from the last one month. My advice to you is that; go to his friend’s and ask them about his rude and impolite behavior. You also said that she is always busy on her cell phone, so definitely she must be having boyfriend. You have to go to his boyfriend and warn him to stay away from your daughter’s life.

To know exactly what actually going in your daughter mind and in her personal life, you have to become her best friend first. May be in this way she share some of her personal matters with you without any hesitation. Try to give very interactive environment at home to her.
