My sister was very good in dancing and singing. Last month she has participated in dance competition but unfortunately she did not won that. From that time she is very much depressed. She is not showing interest in anything. I am worried about her and don’t want her to go in any sort of depression?
Some time it happens with teenagers. Your sister is in same condition and facing such state of mind. This time you have to support her and motivate her to start practice again. Tell her loosing is not a bad at all but participation is much important.
Oicc… I can understand your present state of mind. But don’t worry it is not a problem at all. It is just a hopelessness that’s all. You just need to motivate your sister in right direction. Participation is more than winning any competition; make this thing realize your sister.
These problems are common in teenagers, because teenage boys and girls are very sensitive in nature and they never face any kind of defeat. As a sister, your responsibility is to keep in touch with your sister and always promote her all sorts of activities. Arrange some good books which help him in motivating and he get eager to learn more.
Your sister got depress because she could not win the competition, so you can make her understand that defeat is the only path of success. These struggling teens need special care and support, so take her to residential treatment center because in these centers, the counselors give classes and useful tips to the patients. You need to visit these centers as early as possible.
