I am mother of 18 years old boy. He is very ideal son of mine. But now days his behavior is totally changed. He daily comes late at night and remains in his room alone and don’t talk to any one. He does not reply when we ask about his negative attitude and change in behavior. I want to help my teen child to come out from this situation. Please help us, what we have to do for him.

This is very critical age of your son, so first of all you have to understand your son needs and have to create a friendly attitude towards him. So that he can be frank and able to share his problems with you. You can also personally talk to his friends abut their activities and problems. In-spite of getting angry on your child just treats him very friendly and show love and affection towards him which is his needs. And consult with some psychologists.

Your son age is sufficient age to get engaged with some bad habits such as addiction or any other bad habits. It also may be possible that he is depressed due to some reason, so just try to fund out the reason behind his changed behavior and negative attitudes towards family. You need to take advice from your family doctors or also you can consult with any psychiatrist about it.

In my opinion your son has some behavioral disorder or may be depressed by some thing that you don’t know. He is an insistent and disturbed son. I suggest you that Residential treatment centers or boarding schools are the best place for your son where you can get the effective and expected treatment for your child. These schools also organize some wilderness programs and extra curricular events which is so helpful to enhance the creativity and state of mind.
