Hi. My parents say that I am a troubled teen and they will send me very soon to some special school called a Christian missionary school. But the fact of the matter is that I hating the idea of going in a new school and I do not believe in God. I feel that my parents are too suffocating. I need my own space. Tell me how to persuade them that I am not a troubled teen.

Hello, I am going to give you a list of symptoms of troubled teens and if you find yourself in any of those categories then you should either solve it by yourself or join a specialized school. The list goes like this :

Attention Deficit Disorder
negative group of friends
uncontrollable anger
sneaking out at night
feelings of despair
emotional problems
lack of respect
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
expelled from school
no friends "a loner"
lack of discipline
lack of self control
lack of motivation

You should understand that there is nothing negative in being in trouble. It is a natural phenomenon which can be solved. Ask your parents to give you more time and show them they are wrong. Communication is really important; they can make out what is going on in your mind without you telling them. So communicate!
