My 16 year old son is showing signs of gang involvement from past 10 months. He usually comes home very late. Often I see signs of injury on his body. Whenever I asked him about this he becomes very furious. When I investigated about him in his school, I came to know that he often bunks classes. Please suggest me that what should I do?

Gang involvement in teens may lead to serious problems in future. Major portion of teens who are involved in gang activities have a tendency to engage in criminal activities in future. Talk to him and try that he leave his bad company. Tell him the negative consequences of this and encourage him to make good friends. You can also take advice from a counselor.

Gang involvement in teens may be due to lack of love, care and attention from parents. Give him love and appropriate attention. Try to find out his problems and give moral and emotional support to him. This will change his mind. You can also send him to a good boot camp or military boarding school, but in my opinion parents love is a far good healer.

As time is up for normal treatment it would be better to join him in a troubled teen school, where he could find the best treatment under skilled specialists of all these behaviors.
