Hi, my name is Peter my 13 years old son is stealing money from home, when I asked him he started lying and left the room. I told him whenever he needs money tell me I will give you but still he is stealing money. I think some one is poisoning him. Please tell me what I should to save my son?

You have to solve it carefully and as soon as possible. Several teens have this bad habit. They can do this for enjoyment and fun. If you are unable to take action immediately then it will be a severe problem. This is the starting stage of your teen and I think you can control it yourself. If you are not able to solve it, you can take counselor’s help.

Hello Peter. I can understand your situation. Several times parents feel ashamed due to their child’s bad habits and you are one of them. You have to follow your teen and try to go through the reason. This is the starting stage and you have to take action. You are parents and you better know that how to deal with child.

Peter, if you think that somebody is poisoning him, then talk to him or his friends about this. Know about his friends and their habits and look out if there is someone in his friend’s circle who is practicing the same. Set some rules and regulations for your child and punish him if he does something wrong. Do not ignore this problem as this may harm you and your son in future.

Your son has started developing this habit of stealing and lying in such an early age. You must look for an immediate help for him. Talk to him regarding this. Make him understand that this is wrong and he’ll ruin his relationship with his family and friends because of his this habit. Send him to a boarding school or a military school. They are specially meant for such teens and will definitely fix his problem.

This type of habit is seen mostly in those teens that don’t get proper care and attention from their parents. Talk to your son frankly and find out the reason of this. Try to find out about his company and friends. Sometimes friends encourage teens to steal money. You can also take help of a good psychiatrist if he doesn’t listen to you.

You should talk to him very friendly and try to tell him the consequences of his behavior. Give proper attention to your son as some teens steal money just to seek attention of elders. You can send him to a good military school or a boot camp where he will learn good manners and behavior.
