Hi, my name is Ricky and my girlfriend is pregnant. She is 16 years old, I told her to abort the child but when we consulted with the doctor, he told us it could be dangerous for her to abort the child. Now, she is giving birth to the child. Please tell me how I can help her.

It is a very early age for a girl to deliver the baby. Delivering the baby at this age can be dangerous for the mother as well as the baby. As the doctor advice you not to abort the baby, then let her keep the baby, only if you are ready for it. Now, give her extra care and attention as pregnant women usually need it.

Hi! Ricky. I know it must be a tough situation for you to handle. You must be very confused. But, as far as I know, aborting the baby at this age may not be harmful. If she is less than 2 months pregnant, then there is no harm. You must consult some other doctors so that they can guide you with something.

Dear Ricky! You and your girl friend had made a mistake that can destroy life of you both and your child also. First of all you should tell this to your and your girlfriend’s family about this. As they are more experienced then you they can tackle that problem more efficiently. Give proper care and doctor’s advice to your girlfriend.

Your girlfriend needs appropriate care and love this time. I think you should tell about her pregnancy to his parents. You can not tackle this all alone. There are many organizations that help such teenager girls and their child in getting healthy and good lifestyle. Give proper attention to your girlfriend’s needs and take regular doctor’s advice.
