Hi, my name is Ronny. My son is 16 years old. From last two months he seems to be in depression and tried to elope two times. I asked him many times but he told nothing to me. I asked to his friends but they also don’t know the reason. Please tell me how I can help my son.

In this age children need more attention because teenage children can involve in bad activities such as addiction of heroin, cocaine and smoking and many more. Break off with his girl friend might be the problem of depression. You try to discuss the matter with the school teachers and his friends also.

Sometime a problem is so big for someone and sometimes the same problem is nothing for someone. That totally depends on the nature and way of thinking of the person. If you kid is very shy and introvert in nature them it may be possible that he is facing a little problem that counts nothing for others. This leads to cause depression. You have to find the problem of your kid and give him friendly environment in home. Otherwise please consult with some famous and experienced physiologist.

This is a serious situation abut which your son can’t be able to share it with you but he knows that if he told his problem with you then you don’t understand his feelings. It may be related to any physical problem of any other failures that you can’t expect from him. So in-stead of getting angry on him just tries to be friendly with him and ask about his problem. You can take the help of physiatrist.
