Yes, my kid is a teenager, he studies in 10th standard. He has no interest in studies and also makes excuses for bunking school. Please advice about handling teens when they are not performing in schools and in personal tuitions.

Try to control your temper while teaching them at home. Slowly child will feel comfortable while studying in your guidance. After gaining confidence of unmotivated child at home try to guide him to study well in school. I know this is easier said than done. But, trust me parents really have to play a major role in motivating teenagers to study.

Make time table of your child and ask him to do actions accordingly. If you teach time management to children then I am sure they will automatically start performing in not only schools but in other fields like games, sports and other extra curriculum actives.
