The mentioned ranch is one of the licensed residential treatment centers for the troubled teens and proves to be an alternation solution for the troubled teen.
It provides co-educational residential treatment programs in a healthy environment for the students ranging from 13-17 years of age.
Students are being kept in this academy mainly for the problem which they are being going from such as low self esteem, mood disorders, family conflict and problem of substance abuse. Therapeutic lessons are being given to the students who are struggling in some way or the other in a way of individualized and group counseling sessions mainly to rediscover a sense of self worthiness.
The clinic works on the model of relationship in conjunction with a collaborative problem solving technique which offers positive changes in the life of the individual. It focuses on individual care and a teaching approach for problem solutions. The staff present in the institution worked together with the students to create a friendly environment.
In the individual and family therapy program students is being assigned with a primary therapist who communicate with the guardians on a weekly basis about the progress of the student. The program also initiated a special 30 minute parent session where they can discuss about the student growth and about his future goals. Students were also asked to participate in a weekly individual therapy sessions which normally lasts for 50 minute session during the week.
