It is named in honor of queen Adelaide, the queen of King William IV. It is the fifth largest city of Australia and established in 1836. In the south east of Adelaide there are Adelaide Hills, part of Mount Lofty Ranges. In the region of Adelaide hills there are the Piccadilly Valley and Chain of Ponds. There are also green forests and orchards for visit. Beside these there is a Mt. Lofty Botanical Gardens for visit. In the South of this there is the Belair National Park. There is also another wildlife sanctuary at Warrawong.
