Bareside is situated in state Victoria. It is an inhabited district of Melbourne and is located in the Local Government area of the city Kingston. It is a populated industrial area in State Victoria. It is about thirty kilometer apart from Melbourne at south east direction. It is bordered every side by roads. It is bordered on its north by Lower Dandenong Road, on the east by Springvale Road, on the west by Boundary Road and to the south by Mordialloc Creek. Bareside is well connected to other parts of the country via road.
It is situated at 28°23-60 south on latitude and 151°55-0 east on longitude. The population of Bareside is mainly workers and visitors. Bareside has small or large factory units and Woodlands Industries. There has also a Braeside sewage Treatment Plant.
It is also known for its park, named Bareside Park. It is opened in April 1989. Braeside Park is a large, natural area in a suburban sandbelt. There are golf courses, urban development and busy roads. The park offers easy walking, picnicking, bird watching and cycling. The area of park is 295 hectares. There are many hollow trees which became the house of animals and birds like parrots, cockatoos, owls and kookaburras.
Various kinds of water birds are regularly seen there and their numbers are increasing. In spring, ducks, swans and waterhen breed here. In the park there is Fishing, yabbying or tadpoling are not permitted. You have not seen any dogs, horses and cats in the park. Braeside Park is open at 8:30 AM and closes at 5:00 PM in winter, 6:00 PM in spring and 8:00 PM during daylight saving. The facilities available in the park is playground, car-parking picnic area and observation desks.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is here as well.There has a school for education which has sports facility available. There has a Sports Centre with facilities to play soccer, cricket, netball, field hockey, Australian Rules football, and a shooting range. Near to the Sports Centre there is the Nursery and Community Centre.
