Glen Side is situated in state South Australia in Australia. It was established in 1972 by the Australian mineral foundation. It is located in city of Burnside in Adelaide. The area covered by Glenside is 1.4 square kilometer and the population of Glenside is around 3000.
It is bordered by Greenhill road, Portrush road, Flemington Street and Windsor road respectively at north, east, south and west.
There is only one park in the Glenside area, which is located on the corner of Conyngham and Cator Street. The park is named Symonds & Symonds Reserve, after a well-known glassmaker who lived and worked in the area in the early 1900. It is located next to a Retirement Home and a Childcare center. Glenunga Reserve in nearby Glenunga is located directly adjacent to Glenside.
The main attraction of Glenside is Burnside village shopping centre. It is located at Portrush and Greenhill road. It is a large shopping center in the City of Burnside but also attracts shoppers from other areas due to its beautiful surrounds and variety of shops which specialise in everything from jewellers to record stores to clothing stores.
