Notting Hill is located in state Victoria, Australia. It is an inhabited district of Melbourne and situated between Mount Waverley and Clayton North. The area of Notting Hill is more a plateau than a hill, and is the site of two local water storages. It is situated at 37°53-60 south on latitude and 147°7-0 east on longitude.

The cities situated near Notting Hill are Oakleigh, Oakleigh South in west; Jordanville, Oakleigh North, Mount Waverley in north; and Clayton North in south.

There are good facilities of education. There are many primary and secondary schools situated. The school had an active Young Farmers Club with livestock kept in the school grounds, and in 1937 was judged Victoria best Young Farmers Club.

Monash University is situated here and adjoins the southern boundary of Notting Hill and the Rusden Campus of Deakin University is near the eastern boundary.

There is good transport facility available in city Notting Hill. It is well connected to other parts of the country via road. The nearest airport and railway station is located in Melbourne through which it is connected with the other countries.
