Parents Help in Patterson Lakes

Patterson Lakes is located in the state Victoria. It is a suburb of Melbourne and situated in local government area of City of Kingston. It is 35 kilometer far from central business district of Melbourne. It was created in 1980, across the Patterson River.

Patterson River is the main attraction and visiting point of Patterson Lakes. As one of the few designated safe harbours on the city side of the bay, the Patterson River is the most popular boating gateway to Port Phillip Bay. The thriving canal system of the Patterson Lakes residential area and the wet and dry storage at the Whalers Cove Marina combine with four public boat ramps to make an extremely busy waterway.

A well known feature of The Patterson River has a National Water Sports Centre. The centre was developed as an international standard rowing course in preparation for Melbourne bid. There are many undercover picnic areas and electric barbecues.

There is a small shopping centre, including a Safeway supermarket and a new shopping centre called The Glade. It is well connected to other parts of the country via rail and road. The nearest railway station is Carrum railway station on the Frankston line.
