United Kingdom is a country, situated in North West Europe. United Kingdom is a short name of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean, North Sea, the English Channel, the Celtic Sea and the Irish Sea. Northern Ireland has a land border with the Republic of Ireland and with France by the channel tunnel.

United Kingdom has the fifth highest economy in the world and second highest in Europe. It has the member of G8, NATO and UN.

Four capitals of the United Kingdom are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast which are respectively the capitals of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. London is the largest city of UK. The population of United Kingdom is 21st largest in the world it is over 6 Billion.

UK is an officially Christian country. There are many churches in England and Scotland. The United Kingdom has one of the lowest levels of public worship attendance in the world, with less than 8% of people attending any form of worship on a regular basis
